Northern Illinois-Eastern Michigan Football Game to Air in 16 Markets, including Chicago, Rockford |

DeKALB, Ill. - Saturday's Northern Illinois-Eastern Michigan football game at Huskie Stadium, which marks the debut of the MAC Game of the Week syndication package on ESPN Plus, will air on WPWR my 50 in Chicago and on WTVO TV Channel 17 in Rockford. Kickoff for Northern Illinois' MAC opener is at 11 a.m. (Central). Michael Reghi will handle the play-by-play call of the game while former Marshall running back Doug Chapman handles the color analysis. In all, the game will air in 16 markets, including Philadelphia, Detroit and Milwaukee. Stations that will carry the game: WPWR (Chicago); WPHL (Philadelphia); WXYZ (Detroit); WDJT (Milwaukee); WXSP (Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo); WHP (Harrisburg/Lancaster/Lebanon); WNEM (Flint/Saginaw/Bay City); WMYS (South Bend/Elkhart); KWWF (Cedar Rapids/Waterloo); WBQD (Davenport/Rock Island); WISE (Fort Wayne); WHTV (Lansing); WFQX (Traverse City/Cadillac); WAOE (Peoria/Bloomington); WTVO-DT2 (Rockford); WMQF (Marquette). Tickets to Saturday's game, and all remaining NIU home games this season, are still available through the NIU Athletics Ticket Office in the Convocation Center, on-line at www.niuhuskies.com or by calling 815-752-6800. The game can be heard through the Huskie All Access service available on www.niuhuskies.com. Huskie All Access also offers, on a delayed basis, video of Head Coach Joe Novak's weekly press conference and the post-game interviews from all NIU home games. |
